Move the GEMOC consortium to the Research Page

We would like to remove the GEMOC research consortium from the WG page to add it to the Research Page. This will make more sense to most of us, including the GEMOC leader.

My idea was to consider GEMOC as a research project and have it have its own tile. WDYT?

Knowing we are currently updating the research pages, it could be a good time frame. @scorbett are you aware of this request? I alfready discussed this point with @gblondelle and @mjahn0qp Thx

@cguindon I think there is confusion here: "@scorbett, if you are good with this request, I will ask @zacharysabourin to remove GEMOC from the research page." It is the opposite: We want to add GEMOC to the research page and remove it from the WG group page

I plan to create a new "project" named GEMOC and provide the corresponding information in the associated file. Did you have something else in mind? Thx

This last statement is no longer valid after reading @pkriefrvi comment since hewill take care of adding the project on the research page.

TLDR; If @scorbett agrees, @zacharysabourin only needs to remove it from our portal/wg page.

@oliviergoulet I am going to assign you to this task. At the time when I posted this both you and @zacharysabourin were working on the research website.

I can see that GEMOC is already on the homepage of https://www.eclipse.org/org/research/.

I think at this point, we simply need to make a patch to the working group API to remove GEMOC.

We also need to finalize and deploy the work that you are doing around updating the WG widget for solstice on eclipse.org to actually see this update.

@cguindon the research page is referencing the GEMOC studio project, not the GEMOC Research Consortium.

I miss understood that! @oliviergoulet We also need to add GEMOC Research Consortium to the homepage of the research website.

@pkriefrvi I am thinking that we need you to provide us the content for that if we need to create a new page + title?

@cguindon I agreed on a plan with the owner of GEMOC: we will create a new section on the research page to host Interest Group tiles coming from research such as GEMOC or PDP (for now).

@pkriefrvi @scorbett,

Is it correct for me to assume that we can remove GEMOC from the WG page before we add new tiles for Gemoc and PDP?

@cguindon, @oliviergoulet, It seems that I was too optimistic/ambitious regarding this task. I thought I could easily create a new section listing only the GEMOC Research Consortium but I realised this is too complex to set it up.

Actually, I would like to add a section below the list of research projects, titled "The Research team is supporting these groups" Followed, for now, by 2 titles: GEMOC Consortium and SDV Working Group. I don't mind adding the Science WG if it is still existing.

Is it difficult to set up? Can you help me on that? Thx a lot

PS: the owner of the GEMOC RC pinged me and he was looking for his Research WG...

In the meantime, I can create a tile in the list of projects for GEMOC (which is different from GEMOC Studio)
