Favicon dark theme

This is a minor issue, but the "EF" part of the favicon on eclipse.org is hard to read in a dark-themed browser (e.g. Firefox). See attached screenshot.

Perhaps we need to move the EF logo on top of a white circle similar to google.com favicon:

Yes, I think this is a good idea. The orange part of t he logo with also be more visible on a white background event on light browser themes.

We also need to make sure to update the favicon in https://www.eclipse.org/favicon.ico

This url is loading the old icon and some browser will use this instead what we have in our metatags for each page.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.

@mkokabi I am hoping this is is a simple request: #70 (comment 455374)

The favicon is not readable in dark mode. We should add a white circle or background so that it's reable in light and dark mode.

@cguindon Hi Chris, my apologies for delay. I haven't received any email notification for this task before. I will start working on it right away.

No worries! I don't think this is a high-priority item.

Once the icon is created, we will assign the issue back to Eric to make sure these new icons makes it's way to production!
