[eclipse theia] [dash-licenses] Add Gitlab token as repository secret
Summary
As part of our project, we run dash-licenses
as a GitHub CI step, failing the build if dash-licenses
is unhappy about any new/updated 3PP dependency. When that happens, we've been re-running dash-licenses
in automatic IP team review mode, to automatically create CQ-like tickets to get (often automated) approval, for the dependencies.
We just got permission to try to run dash-licenses
in automatic IP team review
mode, as part of our CI. This requires a Gitlab token (scope: api), for authentication.
I've seen in other ticket that you have bot accounts for that purpose, at least in some cases. Is that the case for Gitlab? I know that I can set GH secrets using the GH API, so I will do that with a self-generated token, if you do not have a bot handy for the task :)
Suggested secret name:
"DASH_LICENSES_TOKEN"
