Dear team,
we had a successful committer election on the SUMO project for Joerg Schweizer
https://projects.eclipse.org/projects/technology.sumo/elections/election-joerg-schweizer-committer-eclipse-sumo\ (GitHub account: schwoz, Eclipse username: jschweizer) but he does not have committer rights on GitHub and is not listed on our Who's involved page https://projects.eclipse.org/projects/automotive.sumo/who.

Did we miss something here?

I think the issue here is something is preventing the sync tool process from completing. I've engaged with our webdev team to try and resolve the problem.

After fixing the Github sync issue, I've taken another look at this, and to me it looks like Joerg isn't actually a commmiter( I don't see any associated paperwork or projects in our internal tracking db). Perhaps the election is waiting on that to complete.

@EMO-records can you indicate what's stopping Joerg from becoming a committer?

According to our records, we were unable to get the necessary committer paperwork completed and the the process has timed out. Based on the state of the record, Joerg should have received a request to sign an Individual Committer Agreement via HelloSign.

The most probable scenario is that our system's email message to Joerg with instructions for how to proceed got caught by a spam filter. It's likely been too long and the message has probably been automatically deleted by now.

Shawn, I can see that the record has timed out. What's our best way to proceed? Can you reactivate the record so that Joerg can complete the process?

Hi everyone,

I was able to locate Jeorg's original provisioning request and I am now handling manually. I'm not sure what caused the process to be derailed but it's possible that it was caught up in a spam filter as Wayne suggested. A HelloSign link has now been sent to Jeorg's email address with instructions for completing the Individual Committer Agreement. Once this has been completed and returned to us, we will get him set up on Sumo.

Hi Matt, yes it has. Joerg has been provisioned and is showing as active on the automotive.sumo project.
