Jenkins to Gitlab runner migration path for eTrice project
We would like to migrate the CI builds for the eTrice project from Jenkins to gitlab runners. From my understanding GRAC! would be the right solution for this.
Is it possible to get a gitlab runner while still keeping the current Jenkins infrastructure active for a limited amount of time to enable us to migrate the build and check if everything is working correctly before switching of Jenkins?
As far as I know we currently use credentials for the following publish/singing tasks in Jenkins:
- SSH-Keys to publish to downloads.eclipse.com.
- Keys/Credentials to publish to Nexus (repo.eclipse.org).
- Jar signing using the CBI tools.
Are there any limitations in that regard using the gitlab runners?
On a side note: It would be great to use custom docker images for the build. Is there a recommended way on where to publish these images?
