DMARC mailing list header FROM headers don't comply
Oracle is about to institute DMARC restrictions on e-mail with improper FROM headers as well. Our mail servers will start quarantining messages that contain FROM header that uses oracle.com (my e-mail is ed.bratt@oracle.com, this is transferred by the list manager to the message that is sent to the list -- but the server that does the 're-send' isn't an Oracle server) that comes from a server that doesn't have a valid DKIM server signature from Oracle. I presume that this will become more and more of an issue with e-mail servers. Some alternative solution should be applied.
I believe that a useful resource describing what to do can be found here (this is from the DMARC.org FAQ): I operate a mailing list and I want to interoperate with DMARC, what should I do? Oracle will start blocking (Quarantining) messages with improper FROM headers beginning in November. This is same/similar to Issue #567 (closed) but I was unable to add a comment to that issue.
