Support for pushing initial oniro-blueprint code that doesn't pass CLA git hook
Summary
Pushing the initial git code to an Eclipse project (oniro-blueprints
repositorie) fails on the CLA git hook. This is because history contains contributions from authors that haven't signed an Eclipse CLA. The issue is regarding the people who are not in the team anymore but their contributions are still in the existing git repository.
This is similar and related to #895 (closed)
Steps to reproduce
pushing booting.oniroproject.org:distro/components/vending-machine-control-application.git to gitlab.eclipse.org:eclipse/oniro-blueprints/vending-machine/vending-machine-control-application.git fails
A few repositories have this issue under the Oniro-Blueprints project and we would like to shut the CLA check off until we can move the final repos into place.
What is the current bug behavior?
git push
fails.
What is the expected correct behavior?
We are looking for a way to bypass the check for the initial code contribution. Subsequent contributions will adhere to the CLA requirements.
