Xtext Jenkins fails to git clone

What is the current bug behavior?

Build fails with

06:04:19 Caused by: java.io.IOException: Cannot run program "git" (in directory "/home/jenkins/agent/workspace/releng/sign-and-deploy/umbrella"): error=2, No such file or directory

What is the expected correct behavior?

Build is successful

Relevant logs and/or screenshots

It might be that centos7 based jobs are the only affected one, at least a few centos8 ones seem to work

Lsp4j is affected too

Edit: Switching to centos8 fixed it for this particular job.
