fixes to make aliensrc_creator work with Donnie

  • repo .git dirs may have relative symlinks inside, we need to copy the contents, not the links, to make git commands work

  • repo .git dirs are inside the .repo folder, nested under many subdirs; their path cannot serve as a dotted url like in yocto's download folder
