Changes to tests_backend_cuda binary size

As a result of related changes, the binary size was updated from 11'733'256 Bytes to 7'385'064 bytes.

That's more than a [ 37%] decrease.

Moreover, compilation time seems to have dropped from 22min to 13min for the CI job build:ubuntu_cpp.
