Unicode problem with blog posts

I'm noticing weird characters showing up on some blog posts.

This post included emojis, but even other alphabetical characters were not displayed on planeteclipse.org correctly (see screenshot below).

The charset is set to utf-8 in the planeteclipse.org HTML, which should support emojis - so it must be something else.
