Remove unused search module from commons library
Originally created for the marketplace API, that API was scrapped and this package was never used again. As it's been ~3y, I think we can safely remove this code and if needed look it up in history.
As a result of abusive and unreasonable anonymous traffic patterns, we're now requiring authentication to access some GitLab pages and content. We will investigate further to determine if these changes are permanent or temporary.
