Using Eclipse 4.6.2 (macOS)
Market Place Client 1.5.3.v20161116-1851

Using a forward slash in the search string results in error, for example "c/c++". Since the CDT entry is called "Eclipse C/C++ IDE", it is easy to hit that problem.
