Tracking number of clones/ downloads

The simopenpass WG is interested in how many times a user has cloned or downloaded the repository over GitLab in a certain time period. Furthermore, it would be ideal to see some statistics about the origin of the region of the clone/ download. Is it feasible to track the number of clones/ downloads of the simopenpass repositories?
