cross-project-issues-dev mailing list bunces incessantly and unreasonably
Summary
I (ed@willink.me.uk) currently (for the last week) get two too-many-bounce notifications from cross-project-issues-dev-request@eclipse.org per day even though I variously reply and visit to placate whatever problem might have occurred.
The last successful message I received was on 12 April.
Since subscribing to cross-project-issues-dev is an important committer responsibility and since this communication mechanism has been flaky for ages, #1143, I also subscribe as ed.willink@gmail.com where I received a last communication on 5-May.
While it may be that communication via the redirection to ed@willink.me.uk is troublesome, please explain why I appear to be able to receive messages from epp-dev without problems. Clearly the cross-project-issues-dev mailing list has gone mad, sending out spurious defective bounce notifications and IMHO shutting me out erroneously in the first place.
(The RSS feed also seems flaky. Thunderbird tracks for a while then goes silent. After a Thunderbird restart, many suppressed RSS messages suddenly appear. The RSS feed is of course now almost useless since the message content is substantially missing, but it at least warns of messages not properly delivered by properly functioning mailing lists.)
Steps to reproduce
View incoming mails via Thunderbird.
What is the current bug behavior?
Two bounce messages per day. No ability to satisfy the reset to normal communication.
What is the expected correct behavior?
I received message oer one sent message.
