Please grant owner access to the eclipse-embed-cdt organization

Please reconsider your policies related to GitHub hosted projects, and relax the current restrictions imposed to project administrators.

It is highly ineficient (and absurd) to open tickets for simple administrative operations, like adding/editing descriptions, icons, READMEs, that usually take a few minutes to fix.

@jograham, please follow this issue.

GitHub's permission model on an organizational level is very limited unfortunately. We would like to see a permission role for organizations similar to "maintain" for repos.

In the meantime, please let us know what needs to be changed and we can get this fixed for you.

Till then please grant owner rights.

We cannot do that and ensure that the Eclipse Development Process is respected (e.g., no addition of new committers outside of a proper election, no new repository being created without the proper record in our database...).

While we are willing to offer as many permissions as possible that don't interfere with the Eclipse Development Process (e.g., see #1531 (closed)), we will never grant owner permission to an organization for the reason above.

Granting more rights to committers over projects is one issue, granting more administrative rights to project leads over the organization is a completely different issue.

It is not normal to have to ask someone else to add/rename projects, to change description strings, and so on.

These absurd restrictions, based on some outdated processes, definitely do not add any value to the projects, and should be relaxed.
