Adoptium: Grant PMC Ownership permissions on GitHub org

The Adoptium PMC has decided to request that they be granted full admin permissions to all repositories in the Adoptium Github org. Please let me know if this is something that can be done as it will help us update Branch protection/repository settings.

Generally speaking the expected workflow is either for the PLs of a project to request elevated permissions temporarily or to work with webmaster to update these kinds of settings.

The idea of permanently granting this kind of permission certainly causes me to pause.

An intermediate solution may be to grant temporary admin permission on 1 project, and once you're satisfied with the setup, EF staff could replicate the setup on other repos.

Would it be possible to setup a call to discuss this? I've toyed with the idea of setting up an infrastructure as code solution where we could define repository settings in a yaml file (similar to the jenkins agents setup) if you'd be interested?

Sure. IaC would definitely be a better solution.
