Contributing logo variants in ongoing project

Hi Team,

We have recently received a request for a logo variant contribution: https://github.com/eclipse-kanto/kanto/issues/249, https://github.com/eclipse-kanto/kanto/pull/250 I have a couple of questions regarding this matter, as I could not find the answers in the handbook.

• What is the process of contributing a project logo variant from contributor outside of the current project? What about from committers or the project lead, are there any differences?
• Do we need additional approval for making such changes from Eclipse side?
• When a new logo variant is contributed does it automatically receives the same licenses and trademarks as the original one or there are additional things that should be done before that?
