"Works with" approval for @vscode/vsce-sign on Theia Main Repository

I’m opening this ticket because we have pending IP tickets regarding the @vscode/vsce-sign* packages. I understand that this is taking some time to process because we are waiting on Microsoft.

In the Eclipse Theia main repository, our use of this package is very limited. We only use @vscode/vsce to package two sample applications, which are for testing purposes only: https://github.com/search?q=repo%3Aeclipse-theia%2Ftheia+vsce&type=code

This means the dependency is not required for building or shipping anything that we distribute.

Would it be acceptable to add an exclusion for this dependency in our license check until the packages are approved/not approved?
