Draft an Interest Group (IG) on cross-wg toolchains modernization strategies

  • Why? The idea of this one is to bring together companies that want to collectively think about their hybrid strategy in "desktop-based" and "cloud-based" toolchains, including the issue of migrating from legacy to more modern technologies by designing completely new solutions vs minimally maintaining existing solutions vs developing new solutions with existing technology.

  • Note: IG (Interest Group), as opposed to a "Special Interest Group" is not mandatorily linked to a single one Working Group (WG), companies "just" need to be Member of EF.

  • Main motivation is to bring more people on the table to have this discussion all together and mutualize effort.

  • Ideal outcome: bring new contributors | WG members to the concerned WGs
