There seem to be patches/code for board OpenHarmony board support for the SCDAYU200 board which have not made it into OpenHarmony upstream repos, yet.
We need to get access to these repos and make sure we use them as board support directly, or backport patches into our tree and build. This hopefully will fix the problem with not all sensors being detected and available through the sensor API and its example application.
Turned out nothing like this was needed for the PoC. Closing.
To create a OpenHarmony add-on for Kanto we need a place store the code for integration into the GN/ninja build system. Such a integration repo would then be added to the manifest for automatic repo sync and build process integration.
This repo would be the entry point to the add-on. The Kanto code itself can be committed there directly or through mechanisms like git submodules. The build file for GN/ninja would need to be stored in here.
We now have third_party repos for Kanto and Mosquitto as dependency. We also have the demo code in these repos. Concluding this stage of the PoC.

To build and deploy Kanto within OpenHarmony it need to be build using GN/ninja.
Yes, I just send a mail with a proposal to start the discussion: https://www.eclipse.org/lists/oniro-pmc/msg00215.html
Support for Raspberry Pi 4B has been worked on for OpenHarmony. Also certified for 3.2. This ticket would track the work going on and see if it is feasible to bring this to Oniro as supported development board.
Investigate English localization status of app and server.
Change server URL in f-oh app to our test server deployment.
Deploy the static resource server f-oh data for testing purpose on a public server.
Right now we are waiting for HopeRun information on the sensors on the DAY200 board. Daughter boards for sensors are on the way for testing with Francesco.
