Flatten submodules

Submodules are too cumbersome for the regular user. We flatten the kernel submodule (here as git subtree) and handle changes by juggling patches between https://github.com/openhwgroup/core-v-freertos and https://github.com/openhwgroup/core-v-freertos-kernel or git subtree push.
