SECO JUNO (SBC-D23) - Linux
## Value <!--- (Mandatory, Add rationale for this requirement/initiative) ---> The Oniro project officially supports Oniro's Linux on the Seco JUNO (SBC-D23) reference board. Such a board is the ideal candidate for makers and actual product prototyping, given the rich feature set, the available documentation, and the relatively low target price. ## Description <!--- (optional, Add description) ---> Support is integrated inside Oniro's Yocto Project build system and available among the officially supported image of the Linux o.s. flavour. Developers can build an official Oniro Linux image, flash it on the target and use all available debugging and profiling tools. The supported reference board is added to the test infrastructure and continuous testing is performed to verify both supported peripherals and functionalities, as well as performance testing and compliance testing. **Supported peripherals:** - Rockchip PX30 ARM Cortex A35 - Gigabit Ethernet port - WiFi/BT LE slot for external modules (optional) - HDMI - eMMC 5.1 on-board, up to 64GB - microSD slot (optional) - 3x USB 2.0 Host ports on Type-A slots - USB Recovery internal connector - Line Out audio jack - Debug UART Factory alternatives: - TTL **Included but not supported:** <!--- List peripherals whose code is included (i.e. upstream) but are not fully validated ---> - Proprietary graphic drivers (GPU) **Not included peripherals:** <!--- List all peripherals whose code is not included ---> Stretch goals: - CSI Camera connector - mPCI-e slot for external modem modules - LVDS - Stereo audio out on internal header - I2S Audio Class-D amplifier with stereo out - RS-232 **Supported tools:** <!--- List all supported development tools including debuggers, profilers, UI development tools,... ---> - UI development tools ## In scope <!--- (optional section, if needed) ---> Linux development host for building, debugging, and operating system development activities. ## Out of Scope <!--- (optional section, if needed) ---> ## Acceptance Criteria <!--- (mandatory, List of criteria) ---> - Working build environment - Working recipe and flavor - Supported peripherals working and tested - Supported tools working and tested - Integration into testing infrastructure - All supported features automatically / manually tested - Continuous regression testing with pass/fail reports - Documentation - Official BSP README file with the list of supported features and booting instructions ## Business Driver <!--- What is the business driver for this Requirement? * Members Acquisition * Design Win * Blueprints ---> * Members Acquisition * Design Win * Blueprints ## Applicable Market Segments <!--- * All * Wearables * Smart Appliances * Energy Management * Security * Entertainment * Home Automation * Lighting ---> * All ## Applicable Personas <!--- * Kernel Developer * Application Developer * UI Developer * Product Integrator * System Administrator * Software Quality Auditor * License Compliance Auditor * All ---> * All
