It would be nice to stop relying entirely on data files for our events, and instead we could have an archetype with frontmatter params that represent event information such as `start_date`, `end_date`, etc. This would pair nicely with what we plan to do with JakartaOne to make their events easier to maintain https://github.com/jakartaee/jakartaone.org/issues/589
