We started a [discussion](https://gitlab.eclipse.org/eclipsefdn/it/websites/accounts.eclipse.org/-/issues/174#note_3111790) about ensuring consistency across our social media fields by allowing users to include an `@` sign in the Matrix and Twitter handle fields. We should also strip the `@` sign from the input before saving it to the database.
