Please consider open a blogging portal for the community

Please consider providing a blogging platform for Eclipse committers.

Advantages:

• Blogs will not disappear over time
• Blogs are concentrated at the source
• Webmasters don't have to deal as much with all the issues associated with listening to external URLs ;)
• Provide an easy blogging access
• We would not have to create our own server
• We would not have to open an account at a third-party site

to Cross I created blogs.eclipse.org a while back in order to create a copy of blog posts written by departed foundation staff. Over time, this platform organically evolved into a blogging platform that our staff is now using to create new blog posts. I am definitely open to entertaining the idea of opening this up to our committers and/or community.
