As part of an ongoing effort to simplify and optimise some of our back-end services, the public facing [Media link API](https://gitlab.eclipse.org/eclipsefdn/software-dev/api/eclipsefdn-media-link-api) previously used by some of our internal sites will be going permanently offline on August 3, 2026 at 2pm Eastern time. This decision was made as all known sites using this API have been switched in all instances to use static video lists. In addition, we will be performing 2 brownouts for the application in the coming weeks as part of the sunset activities. The first brownout will be on July 24, 2026 from 2pm to 4pm Eastern time. The second brownout will be a 24 period from July 30, 2026 at 2pm to July 31, 2026 at 2pm.
