Verify GitHub Account revoked all my permissions

Summary

Yesterday I got to my profile page under github actions to enable the copilot access (FYI @wbeaton) as we talked about it yesterday in the EAC meeting.

Then there was a button to "Verify GitHub Account" and I clicked on it.

Now I was asked to allow Eclipse to access my account details and I approved that, got an email from Github "A third-party OAuth application has been added to your account"

What is the current bug behavior?

As a result all my permission where revoked and I where removed from all projects I'm committer/PL

What is the expected correct behavior?

Everything works as before, and after verification I get maybe something new (verified user badge?) but not getting all my access revoked.

Relevant logs and/or screenshots

In the meanwhile I go to my account and clicked "Connect GitHub Account" so maybe this will fix it magically as now it says " Status Connected as laeubi" but honestly the workflow is far from optimal.
