Please restore JGit and EGit CIs from last known good backup

Summary

JGit and EGit CI instances are gone due to the ongoing storage outage.

Denis Roy offered the following 2 options to recover:

  1. We can provision a Jenkins instance with the last known version of the Jenkins data. This data is the last snapshot prior to migration to the storage cluster, and, depending on when your instance was migrated, may be weeks, or up to several months old.
  2. We can provision a new, bare Jenkins instance for your project. If your build is defined in pipelines alongside your code, recovery may be more straightforward

I choose option 1. to recover from last known version of the respective Jenkins data and approve it with project lead +1.

This outage is a big mess and I am disappointed that the latest backups are from Nov 2024.

Both CI instances are down since around 1 week blocking development and creation of 2025-06 M2

What is the expected correct behavior?

CI should be up and running
