Evaluation: Migrate Eclipse openK Core Modules & Eclipse openK User Modules to GitLab

Dear all,

we are moving away from an on prem build pipline (Jenkins) to a cloud/saas solution (Gitlab). I am just evaluating what it means to move our repos (see title) to Eclipse Gitlab.

1. We want to use the code review feature of gitlab which has a modern better overview compared to gerrit and the process is way easier. I guess this feature is supported right?
2. Which further features does Eclipse Gitlab support?
3. How long would it take for you to migrate the repos to Gitlab:
   1. Phase: All Eclipse openK Core Modules (6 Repos) https://projects.eclipse.org/projects/technology.openk-coremodules/developer
   2. Phase: All Eclipse openK User Modules (17 Repos) https://projects.eclipse.org/projects/technology.openk-usermodules/developer
4. How would the Group structure look like? Are there structure in SubGroups?
