Distributed development

In the context of "distributed development", it was pointed out that "formats" and "mechanisms" should be "standardised" so that they can be used in multiple projects. As an example: if there is are a defined functional format + a defined functional mechanism for capturing, versioning, tracing bi-directionally and including in release notes of the Requirements, this should be well documented and put in place so that other projects can reuse them. Eventually, the respective format + mechanism would be "standardised" among a given group of projects.
