The two projects are the Jakarta EE Platform and Jakarta EE TCK projects. The plan is to have Jakarta EE Platform remain and the TCK one would be combined into it. A ballot was completed with both project's committers and was approved. The results can be seen [here](https://www.eclipse.org/lists/jakartaee-platform-dev/msg04811.html). The plan is that only the Eclipse projects will be combined. The github repositories and mailing lists will continue to remain separate. It is just that the new combined project will have two repositories and mailing lists. We would like the committer lists to be combined though so that there is one combined list that is used for both github repositories. <!-- Provide a brief explanation of the reasons you need a restructuring review together with some context. --> ## Expected infrastructure changes <!-- The project team should list the expected infrastructure changes in thsi section, e.g. new project name and shortname, which repositories to move, repositories that need to be archived, committer's databases to be merged/splitted, etc. --> The following infrastructure changes are requested by the project team: > _This proposal will combine the projects and committer list of the Platform and Platform TCK Eclipse projects._ > _This will not affect the existing mailing lists or the github repositories.
