automotive.autowrx Eclipse MoEc Termination Review and Eclipse Autowrx Restructuring Review

The EMO is using this issue to track the progress of a project restructuring and termination review.

The project team of Eclipse MoEc has requested to merge this project with the already existing Eclipse Autowrx project.

@bdug have you modified the scope of the Autoworx project to include the scope of the MoEc project? I understand the final aim is to join forces and reduce complexity, but there should be a merge between project contents if you want to make this work.

Please make the necessary modifications and let us know when you're ready.

@mdelgado624 a explicit scope change is not required, because the scope where overlapping. @dslama maybe we can mention functional domains such as e.g., motion management to get integrated.

That's fine then. We'll just merge the committer database in this case.

Have you sent the note to the PMC to get their approval for this review?

@webmaster once we get the PMC +1 please proceed to merge the committer database for the MoEc and Autowrx projects and retire all project resources for Eclipse MoEc.

@bdug I still haven't seen the note to the PMC. Am I missing something?

As I am part of the PMC and I mentioned the merge also at EclipseCon maybe is it ok, even it is not really fulfilling the process?
