Description
The "Fill in the username / password dialog" step from the connection creation procedure in the RSE User Guide at https://help.eclipse.org/2019-12/index.jsp?topic=%2Forg.eclipse.rse.doc.user%2Fgettingstarted%2Fgusing.html contains the following note:\
For ssh, if you have private keys, the password here is just a dummy. Enter anything and save it. You can setup ssh private key authentication through the Team > CVS > SSH2 Connection Method Preference page.
Team > CVS no longer exists (by default). Thankfully, that preference can still be found, only in General -> Network Connections (as shown by https://peacocksoftware.com/blog/ssh-key-authentication-eclipse ).
