Treat replace as edit functionality not working in Eclipse Luna

Bugzilla Link 440733

Importance P3 normal

Description

I am using Eclipse Luna with Subversive 1.7.12.

In Eclipse Kepler and earlier a copy a file over another displayed changes in the file and that the file is in the repository.

In Eclipse Luna the file is displayed with a question mark and indicated as replaced (not added). The option "Tread replace as edit" is checked but it does not work as expected.

Expected behaviour:

  • Replacing a file displays the file is in repository and has been changed

Issue:

  • History of the file is not kept anymore and the file cannot be compared against subversion.
