The Oomph installed version of ICE needs to be checked to see if the parallel job launching functionality is working.
This can be done by running the Eclipse Installer, changing to Advanced Mode, selecting Eclipse for RCP and RAP Development, and hitting next. On this screen, download the ICE Oomph profile from https://raw.githubusercontent.com/eclipse/ice/master/org.eclipse.ice.aggregator/ICE.setup and drag and drop it into the list of Eclipse Projects, then select the new ICE option and follow the rest of the prompts.

We need to add automatic error reporting to ICE. Here is what Marcel Bruch suggests:
> I had a quick check on the ICE product contents. To me it looks like you can just add AERI to your product [1] as we do for the EPP packages (if you do not have any additional constraints). Then, we just have to configure an ICE project at dev.eclipse.org and you are good to go.

> For EAVP we just have to add the project to dev.eclipse.org. That’s all.

We need to add support in the client for connecting to a remote core.
Once upon a time we had this in the "ConnectCoreAction." Perhaps we can reenable that button? I don't think we will need to use the remote core proxy though because the OSGI remote service infrastructure should be encapsulating all of that.
Instead of only having the button and manually switching, it would be nice to actually create view that listed all of the remote cores that are connected to the client.
This is to support Ram's request in #261.
