I just downloaded the latest release of Eclipse ESCET on a new laptop, unzipped it, and started it, and got an error popup saying "'Windows Defender Exclusion Check' has encountered a problem. Failed to retrieve Windows Defender status." See also the screenshots below.   I tried downloading+installing Eclipse 2024-09, and didn't get the problem there. So this seems fixed in a later version of Eclipse.
