Upgrade to Eclipse 2024-09

In #635 (closed) we upgrade to Eclipse 2024-03. Here we will collect information about the next upgrade. And we'll use this issue for the actual upgrade later on. Which exact version to upgrade to is to be determined, taking into account our upgrade policy.
