Infrastructure, services and applications migration plan
Rationale
As part of the Initiation agreement, a task to be performed by EF is the creation of an infrastructure, services and applications migration plan from Huawei to the EF/Oniro WG. The plan will be done in two steps:
- Draft: this document will drive the decisions that should be taken in this area like tools selection and who/how they will be managed.
- Final document, which will be a description of the work that need to be done to migrate the selected tools and services.
The inputs for these documents will be:
- Existing infrastructure, tools and services being currently financed and managed by Huawei and used by the engineering team collaborating in the development of what is being contributed to Eclipse Foundation as Oniro.
- Existing tools and services offered by the Eclipse Foundation to other Working Groups and projects.
- Other tools and services worth evaluating to solve conflicts between what is currently used and what the EF offers.
