• This prioritized development effort is to implement Eclipse Platform UI Issue #741 Find actions should use more modern filtering mechanism.
• No specific time estimate is provided, however it is expected this is on the order of days of work.
• The expected deliverables are:
  • Pull Request for Eclipse Platform UI to enable Open Resource to use better matching using the standard contribution flow for the Eclipse Project.
  • New and Noteworthy entry for Eclipse Platform for the user visible change
  • New and Noteworthy entry for Eclipse Platform for any API changes needed to allow other searches (e.g. JDT's Open Type) to leverage the same improvements
• The Eclipse Foundation IT Infrastructure should not require any involvement for this development effort
• To demonstrate/verify the completion:
  • The Open Resources should work as described in the description of #741
